Having taken in some of the country’s finest wineries throughout January, nearly 10,000 excited fans braved soaring temperatures on Australia Day to see the couple perform at Sirromet Winery in QLD as part of the final ‘a Day on the Green’ tour shows.
Set against the stunning vista of Mt Cotton, Tina’s put an a late afternoon show that included orchestrated renditions of Only Women Bleed, Every Breath You Take and Sorrento Moon as well as slamming version of her seminal hit Chains and Blondie’s Call Me to close her show.
During the final moments of her performance, Tina said she felt both humbled and proud to be back on stage in her home country on Australia Day.
Being here with you guys today reminds me of how great this country is and how great it is to be Australian. I love this country!!
Tina also made her usual appearance in Ronan’s set, dueting with him on his hit Last Thing on My Mind , originally performed with Leanne Rimes.
